Authoring the ontology:

• uses trees as the overall knowledge representation
• use the most mature and fastest standard mindmapping tool to simplify tree maintenance tasks
• tree nodes are annotaed with icons
  • chains of icon annotated nodes generate semnantic ode

Authoring an html file:

• syntax tags define html structure and document tree
• syntax tags are realized as edge annotations (as opposed to semantic tags, i.e. iconic node annotations)
• we emulate missing edge annotations in freemind by inserting "edge" nodes like "-", "p" or "D"
